Police responded to an active shooter incident at a hospital in York, Pennsylvania, on Saturday morning and there is no ongoing threat, officials said.

A hospital official says a gunman has been killed after shots were fired at a hospital in central Pennsylvania.

A gunman, armed with a handgun and carrying zip ties, went inside UPMC's ICU, and took staffers hostage before he was ultimately killed by police in a shootout, the York County DA said.
