Dallas Cowboys star pass rusher Micah Parsons has been seeking a long-term contract extension with the organization for quite some time now. On Friday, Parsons released an official statement requesting a trade from the franchise after spending the last four seasons in Dallas and making the Pro Bowl every year.

Defensive end Micah Parsons' game of chicken teriyaki with Jerry, Stephen, Charlotte, Rowdy and Co. now includes an empty trade request that will ultimately result in the player signing a contract before the start of the season. This contract will look a lot like the deals signed by Pittsburgh's T.J. Watt and Cleveland's Myles Garrett.

If Micah Parsons really is available in a trade, the Packers should consider an aggressive move to get him, but there are drawbacks to consider.
