COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s Jeremiah Smith wasted no time starting his 2025 highlight reel. Entering his sophomore season, Smith made his first impressive catch during the Buckeyes’ third practice of preseason camp.

There isn't a college football player in the country like Jeremiah Smith. The Ohio State superstar wide receiver is the best player on the Buckeyes, the best player in the Big Ten, and probably the best player in the nation. He also, according to The Athletic's Bruce Feldman, is the No. 1 'freak' based on his physical traits.

Last season, Ohio State faced off against the Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl. With a trip to the national championship game on the line, Texas was able to shut down Smith. He caught just one pass for three yards on the evening. Smith is looking for some revenge.
