Tibet was hit by a powerful 7.1 magnitude earthquake in a region near the world-famous Mount Everest on Tuesday morning - with at least 95 people reported killed. The US Geological Survey said the epicenter of the quake was located 57 miles from Lobuche in Nepal,

At least 126 people were killed when a strong earthquake hit Tibet Tuesday. At least 188 people are believed to be injured. Crews are digging through rubble, searching for any trapped people as dozens of aftershocks continued to strike the border between China and Nepal. About 1,000 homes have been damaged, according to state media.
