Josh Allen could take plenty of satisfaction from a season in which he became the betting favorite for MVP and the Buffalo Bills defied the doubters who predicted a down year.

The Buffalo Bills' final play of the AFC championship game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs included quarterback Josh Allen hurling the ball down the field on a fourth down in hope one of his receivers would make a miracle catch and keep them in the game.

Despite the loss in the AFC championship game, the Bills enjoyed a lot of success this year. Buffalo won the AFC East for the fifth season in a row. Allen is an MVP candidate. James Cook rushed for over 1,000 yards for the second straight year and the team had the best turnover differential in the NFL.

The Bills cannot get by the Chiefs in the playoffs. It happened again Sunday in a 32-29 loss to Kansas City in the AFC Championship game. The last three defeats have been by a grand total of nine points -- all separate three-point losses.

Following another crushing playoff exit, the Buffalo Bills face tough roster decisions as they plan for 2025 and beyond.
