The Trump administration is planning to dispatch Border Patrol agents to Charlotte and New Orleans to oversee immigration operations that could involve armored vehicles and special operations teams.

Vanessa Blancas and her sister Daisy went with their father to Super G Sunday but were wary about Border Patrol after Saturday’s incident. The Blancas, born in the United States but of Mexican heritage, said when they arrived they were “looking for immigration cars.”
Witnesses say subcontractors were working at the site on Brookridge Lane in south Charlotte when Border Patrol pulled up and attempted to arrest them.
