Cousins, 36, was wildly inconsistent during his first season with the Falcons. He finished with 3,508 passing yards, had an 18 touchdown to 16 interception ratio, and completed 66.9% of his passes.

The Jets (7-4) are one game out of the AFC East lead, in an even more foreign place with meaningful games ahead in December. They haven't been to the playoffs in 12 years.

Of course, the Jets have lucrative money tied to Rodgers. But don't forget that Cousins is only under contract for this year, due $20.25 million through 2023.
